Cyntech is seeking a Project Manager in our Calgary, Alberta office. The ideal candidate will have the desire to work in a quality company with superior products and a reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing allocated large and complex projects and meeting the objectives on time and to required standards. The individual will be involved in all aspects of managing single or multiple projects and will be the first point of contact for clients. In this position, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of projects, estimating and proposal preparation, business development, contract negotiations, managing change orders and claims, monitoring and managing project schedule, cost control and QA/QC requirements, project invoicing and securing payment. Qualifications:

• 5 - 10 years Oil Field Construction experience with a BS or MS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng in Alberta.
• Thorough knowledge of API 650/653 is preferred
• Strong project management experience in general construction
• Solid familiarity with all projects contractual requirements and proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners
• Experience within project development/marketing preferred
• Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary
• Travel required
• Highly developed sales and negotiation skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Understanding of complex financial information
• Developing process at an organization level
