On behalf of our client, Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation (MASC), We are seeking a Project Manager, who is passionate about delivering a wide range of digital and operational projects while playing an integral role in the continued evolution of their project management office. Your focus will be to lead their project teams to favorable project outcomes through a collaborative, problem solving, continuous improvement, and innovative culture. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project engagements from initiation to project close out.

As the Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage the full project life cycle from initiation to closeout.
  • Create, execute, manage, and monitor project management plans, including schedules, estimates, risk management, resource management, targets, and budgets.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team.
  • Create and communicate status reports to all required parties and participate in daily project scrums.
  • Contribute to building a problem solving and solution orientated project management office.
  • Create and manage project financials to track costs, forecast outcomes, and control spending under the direction of a project steering committee.
  • Support the Corporate Projects and Architecture Manager with the management and coordination of the corporate-wide project portfolio.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather information regarding business processes and elicit requirements for review and analysis.
  • Complete documentation of current business processes using various techniques such as interviews, information gathering sessions, business process modeling, and workflow analysis.
  • Participate in organizational change management initiatives.
You and Your Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans and documentation.
  • Experience delivering completed projects including initiating, planning, coordinating, and supporting.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and internal/external resource time allocation.
  • Experience communicating, pathfinding, and liaising with key stakeholders on projects.
  • Experience using systems development methodologies such as Agile or Hybrid.
  • Must possess a valid driver\'s license, access to a vehicle, and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
  • Project Management Professional certificate (PMP); experience with Business Case Development and Systems Development projects; knowledge of Insurance, Lending, Agriculture, and Change Management would all be considered assets.
