Emera Newfoundland & Labrador (ENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Emera Inc. (EMA-TSX, EMA-NYSE), operates the Maritime Link, an integrated set of transmission assets that delivers renewable electricity from Muskrat Falls in Labrador through Newfoundland to Nova Scotia. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Operations team supporting asset management and planning initiatives to ensure 2026's objectives are successfully achieved. This role is for nominally 1 year with the possibility of extension.


Key elements of this role include:



Execute end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables; manage the activities, create detailed plans, organize and run effective meetings Responsibility for ensuring all aspects of the initiatives are addressed with quality including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, business case justification, procurement and communication Lead special initiatives such as the completion of studies, the development of plans and support the delivery of the compliance program Engage with internal and external experts to achieve objectives and consult with internal and external stakeholders where applicable to ensure initiatives are communicated and shaped with appropriate input; support associated regulatory reporting and applications, as required Responsibility for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations; be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environment management system processes and initiatives

What skills will make you successful?




As the ideal candidate you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and possess or are working towards the desired skills and experience listed below:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. science, business) with 7-10 years experience in project management Strong knowledge and application of formal project management methodologies and demonstrated competence in delivering projects on time, on schedule and on budget Strong communications and stakeholder management skills'

The following are considered assets for this position:

Previous electric utility and/or asset management experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Risk management experience and skills

Note: Candidates can also be based out of Emera Newfoundland & Labrador's locations (near Stephenville, NL and Sydney, NS). In that case regular travel to principal locations would be required.
