Position Overview
We are seeking a
Project Manager
to lead multidisciplinary product development programs from early concept through to production handoff. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. This role bridges the gap between engineering execution and client engagement, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of product development projects across mechanical, electrical, (and software) disciplines.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication of scope, progress, and expectations.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Facilitate design reviews, risk assessments, and milestone gates.
Track deliverables, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
Support proposal development, including estimating timelines, costs, and resource requirements.
Foster collaboration among internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.
Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company quality systems and client requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience managing product development or engineering projects.
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, from concept to manufacturing.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
PMP certification or equivalent experience is an asset.
Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment is preferred.

Salary Range:
$100k-$150k
