About the SAP Returnship Program

SAP's Returnship Program is a 20 week paid returnship targeting mid-career professionals who've taken a 2+ year career break for caregiving, relocation or military service. Since 2018, SAP has offered a structured returnship program because we appreciate the skills you offer, the perspective you provide, and the contributions you will make.

What you'll do

We are looking for a project manager for the Observability unit within BTP Core. As a project manager, you will manage the development and implementation process of a SAP's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.

• Planning and directing schedules while monitor budget/spending. Monitoring the project from initiation through delivery. Organizing the cross-team and interdepartmental activities to ensure the completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints
• Manage a sub project or work stream
• Support the overall project management in all project phases (Project Start and Planning, Leading Teams, Risk-, Change- and Conflict Management, Project Communication and Monitoring, Commitment Management)
• Execution and analysis of project reporting
• Coordination of project management activities (meetings, schedule, rooms).
• Coordination of project relevant tests and quality measurements (scheduling, rooms, test plans).
• Ensures the delivery of sub project according to overall project specific goals

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management or related education
• 3-5 years of experience working as a project manager
• Solid organizational and project management skills
• Good understanding of software design, engineering and architecture principles
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex problems and help resolve them
• Very good written and verbal English language skills
