Within the Telecommunication team, as a Project Manager:

Your responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified individual who will provide leadership to FNX-INNOV projects within our mission, vision, values, and board-approved budgets. The location of this role can be flexible, but headquarters and direction of the project are based in Montreal and the project is realized in the British Columbia region. Reporting to the vice-president, the project manager is responsible to lead project and deliver according to our engagement and customer satisfaction. The project manager leads project discussion, planning, and reporting activities while enhancing the effectiveness of our service delivery and work environment. The project manager also supports design activities and business processes and will be called upon to identify and address any gap between project requirement and our engagement. In addition, the project manager will be required to participate to project evolution discussion and help FNX-INNOV to set up process to meet those objectives.
- Lead projects under his responsibility and manage project development planning;
- Synchronization of the work with project team;
- Work with assigned planners and staff to deliver on committed strategic initiative objectives and budgets;
- Interface with 3rd party vendors / contractors as required (forecasts and schedules);
- Manage and report on project schedules, identifying risks to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner;
- Manage and maintain project milestones logs with task owners;
- Identify new clients' business needs into an effective solution;
- Follow-up validation of the technical content of the solutions with the experts;
- Draft and/or review service offerings and participate in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare purchase orders in accordance with the delivery plan;
- Coordinate and track project activities and other work process tools including progress reports;
- Monitor quality standards (ISO);
- Manage escalations and expedite problems resolution;
- Ensure proper resource attribution to meet project engagement;
- Ensure customer satisfaction;
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment;
- Available to work flexible hours if required.

Your profile
- University degree at minimum, MBA or other advanced degree;
- Experience between 10-15 years as Telecom Project Manager;
- Experience in the design or implementation of telecommunications projects;
- Practical experience in technology project management and personnel management;
- Experience in responding to tenders and sales support (asset);
- Knowledge of the ISO standard, especially in train environment;
- Good communication, team spirit, decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Perfectly bilingual (English & French) both written and spoken.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Especially Excel), MS Project, MS Visio, AutoCAD, and others.
- Availability for occasional travel.
