Canary Systems Canada Inc., is a subsidiary of Canary Systems, Inc., a technology firm based in New Hampshire, USA. We specialize in civil engineering related monitoring and instrumentation applications and operate in several markets including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.
We are looking to immediately fill the role of a full-time Project Manager for Canary Systems Canada. Inc at our office located in Montréal, QC. This position reports directly to the Canadian Group Manager, and it offers ample opportunity for flexible remote work and travel. Candidates should have a mining, geotechnical engineering or instrumentation background and are needed to assist managing and supporting the implementation of our systems at various projects around Canada.
Responsibilities Include:

• Organize client support contracts and prepare relevant documentation
• Lead, track, and document progress of client projects
• Manage project installations and provide installation services as needed
• Coordinate technical client support or provide support as needed
• Monitor client systems and databases
• Manage sub-contractors
• Provide training and related services
• Develop project opportunities

Expertise Required:

• Previous experience in Project Management
• Ability to speak, read and write English on a professional level is mandatory, bilingual English-French is preferred.

Expertise Desired:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mining or Geotechnical field

• Geotechnical instrumentation applications and installation
• Geotechnical data reduction and presentation methods
• Monitoring systems including electronics and software
• Communications, including wireless and wired technologies
• Software, including database technologies
