About the Role

As the Project Manager (IT), you will be responsible for planning, managing, and reporting on a portfolio of information technology projects that support both internal operations and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the development team while also supporting initiatives related to telephony and software integration. Acting as a key liaison between senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets using appropriate and modern project management methodologies.



In addition to managing projects, this role plays an important part in strengthening project management practices across the organization by developing tools, resources, and guides that support employees in applying consistent project management methodologies in their day-to-day work.



The expected salary range for this role is $80,000.00-$85,000.00. Placement within this range will be determined based on the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.



Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage both large- and small-scale IT projects for internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, including internal teams, AAA/CAA Clubs, and external partners, to gather requirements, document constraints, and confirm project deliverables. Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive IT project plans, including tasks, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation. Monitor project performance and progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Provide regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership. Delegate tasks effectively to project team members, optimizing internal skill sets and resources. Conduct touchpoint and status meetings throughout the project lifecycle to support strong stakeholder engagement and alignment. Support testing efforts, including contributing to test plans and coordinating testing activities where required. Create project management tools, templates, and guides to support consistent project delivery across the organization. Continuously seek opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused mindset. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to identify project risks and respond proactively. Professional approach that reflects CAA Niagara's values of teamwork, service excellence, integrity, respect, and inclusivity. Results-oriented with a strong customer-focused attitude.

Education & Experience

Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience, with progressive experience in IT environments. Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Scrum Master, and/or Agile certifications are considered assets.

Working Conditions

Primarily on-site at our Thorold, ON office, with regular collaboration across teams. Standard office environment with frequent computer use and digital systems. Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required to meet operational or business needs.
