Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager - IT III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 10 months (conversion and extension depends on business needs)
Pay Rate: Starting from $65 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9am to 5pm
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, track, and manage project budget, plans, timelines, and scope.
• Manage project resources, including procuring staff, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising.
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements.
• Lead teams of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Define test plans and ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing.
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are utilized.
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 10+years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification or experience
• Agile methodology
• Extensive experience working closely with multiple teams to successfully execute and complete projects, ideally but not imperative, related to GenAI
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required
• Nice to have: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM),Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
