:
As a strategic member of the National Service Centre Human Resources team, the Human Resource Project Manager (Noc 10019) will contribute to projects that lead to an unforgettable employee experience across Bayshore. The role blends HR project management, portfolio oversight, and product ownership, requiring deep expertise in HR technology, process transformation, and enterprise-level stakeholder engagement.
The Human Resource Project Manager (NOC 10019) will work closely with cross-divisional business partners, HR Leadership Team, and the HR Operations team (EDIT Team - Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Strategy), to establish, define, and implement improvements of programs, offerings, and initiatives that impact and align with the company's overall priorities and strategic objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Human Resource Project Manager, you will deploy your skills to initiate, organize and drive progression of HR and cross divisional projects; taking lead with requirements gathering, documentation, planning and managing implementations as needed. Those improvements cut across organizational processes, structure, enabling technologies and the use of data and processes to drive business alignment, organizational performance and business value.
Act as the divisional lead for HR, serving as the first point of contact for cross-functional collaboration, vendor engagement, and enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
Own and manage a portfolio of HR technology projects, including AI-powered tools, recruitment platforms, onboarding apps, performance automation systems, LMS, and more.
Lead the internal HR product in partnership with the Director of Employee Experience and tech teams, covering onboarding journey, documentation storage, and employee self-service.
Spearhead the transition from legacy HR processes to modern, tech-enabled workflows--enhancing recruitment excellence, and employee-candidate experience.
Oversee HR fiscal planning, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial coding in alignment with accounting and compliance teams.
Develop and present business review documents, charters, project documentations and executive reports for C-suite & internal stakeholders, driving visibility and strategic alignment.
Facilitate steering committee meetings for HR with cross-divisional internal businesses for policies, process, and governance.
Support compliance and operational accuracy in Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and payroll coding with Health & Safety leaders.
Serve as the departmental point of contact for IT and security initiatives, contributing to enterprise risk and data governance efforts.
Support broader HR transformation efforts through strategic ownership & support, employee experience redesign, and data-driven decision-making.

Leadership & Execution
Actively manage the lifecycle of strategic HR projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and change management.
Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of deliverables, expectations, and timelines.
Secure and manage internal and external resources, providing direction on work plans, quality controls, and project governance structures (Change management request, Risk and Issue logs, RACI - Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed documents, Status Updates, Project Charters and SOW - Statement of work documents).
Offer a high standard of client service and professionalism as a primary point of contact for delivery, issue resolution, and tracking.
Lead project meetings with structured agendas, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring accountability and progress.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Human Resources Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer & Head of Talent.
Qualifications
:
Experience & Education
University Degree or College Diploma in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or related field of study
Completion of PMP designation, Lead Six Sigma certification or / and agile certifications equivalent preferred.
3-5 years of progressive work experience as a HR Project Manager, specifically supporting HR Operations & Systems implementations, HRIS, ATS (PeopleSoft/Taleo) and enterprise HR platforms.
Experience in product ownership, fiscal planning, and enterprise transformation initiatives is highly valued
Skills
Strong leadership in HR tech and transformation projects
Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and recruitment technologies
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and gain executive buy-in
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools, proficient in Planview, JIRA, and Confluence.
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
