Candidates must be available and legally able to work in Nova Scotia, Canada at the time of application. This individual will be required to work in the office at times and may have the option to work from home based on performance and project requirements. Duties May Include:

• Is able to deliver projects on time, on budget, while meeting customer expectations.
• Manage projects based on the aspects of IT Delivery Standard Practices framework and Project Management Guidelines for Technology Projects.
• Oversee the timely delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with the delivery framework.
• Handling project escalations and advising other team members on resolving project issues.
• Review project management deliverables such as business cases, project and change requests.
• Interfaces with external organization\xe2\x80\x99s, such as system integrators or service providers as it relates to delivery of projects.
• Is accountable for development of executive level project delivery reporting.
• Provides advanced scheduling and estimating guidance to the managers, and ensures that project schedules are of appropriate quality, and advance regularly and are properly baselined.
• Participates in the creation and delivery of PM reports to keep other team members up to date.
• Contributes to the advancement of the delivery framework, development or enhancement of templates, standards, and tools.
• Conducts project QA reviews.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification current and active.
• Understanding of various Project Management methodologies and tools and proven ability to effectively tailor them to the needs of projects.
• Proven experience in delivering complex technology-enabled business projects.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience in managing system integrators and service providers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to act decisively in critical situations and to prevent a potential problem.
