Furcon is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager. The Project Manager role is an important, fast-paced position with responsibilities including liaising with stakeholders, managing subtrades and workers, preparing and revising critical documentation, ordering material, conducting site visits, and estimating/invoicing projects. This role works with the Regional Manager to manage numerous construction projects from beginning to closeout.
At Furcon, you are more than just a project manager. Furcon PM\xe2\x80\x99s are provided a portfolio projects and customers to manage. This provides PM\xe2\x80\x99s with flexibility and control over how they manage their own crews and projects within their portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities
This role involves assisting the Project Manager with numerous aspects of construction projects at various stages of completion. The role will be dynamic, with varied responsibilities depending on the project and phase. Likely responsibilities and duties include:

  • Manage portfolio of customers and projects for your designated area.
  • Conducting site visits to review new work or check-in on existing work.
  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and customers
  • Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Managing project resources, including personnel and materials.
  • Resolving conflicts and negotiating solutions to challenges that arise.
  • Overseeing quality control and safety on the construction site.
  • Preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining an understanding of construction laws and regulations.
