Your role
This is a leadership opportunity suited for someone with experience in furniture planning and selection where they can assist clients by facilitating discussion about how to populate their new spaces with furniture that supports optimal working scenarios. As a valued resource you will bring 7+ years of furniture and interior design management experience combined with broader project management capabilities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients (owners and architecture teams) to provide optimal furniture planning solutions within their unique environments. Taking the operational requirements of the space, you work with users to offer various furniture options for their consideration, so that furniture requirements can be refined to the point that technical and performance specification can be developed for open procurement purposes. The development of detailed planning documents (e.g., furniture lists, budgets) is completed with information obtained from user sources, as well as established furniture standards and transferring inventory information. This role will also include activity on Public Private Partnership (P3) projects in the development of output specifications for projects mostly focused on Healthcare.
You will lead the development of furniture procurement documents and analyze responses, giving your clients recommendations on the best solutions based on the established evaluation criteria. You will work with successful vendors to review and approve shop drawings, select materials and finish selections, finalize quotations, and coordinate delivery and installation of the finished product within these spaces.
