Job Overview
Streampoint is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a solid track record in steering projects to
successful completion within the event technology industry. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your
comprehensive understanding of project management principles and client engagement strategies to
meet and exceed our clients' expectations. The candidate will gain comprehensive knowledge of
Streampoint's state-of-the-art event technology solutions. You will be equipped to grasp client needs,
effectively manage project specifications, and seamlessly liaise with our diverse in-house teams spanning
creative, development, operations, and support functions.
Responsibilities & Duties
Oversee a diverse project portfolio, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery
Be the product knowledge expert to help better consult clients with best practices
Act as the pivotal liaison between clients and Streampoint teams
Extract, understand, and manage client project requirements
Develop comprehensive project documentation and work back schedules
Uncover upsell opportunities to foster account growth
Foster enduring relationships with clients and suppliers
Identify, plan for, and manage risks and contingencies for all project activities
Ensure adherence to the client contract and scope of services
Manage expectations with the client, their event and their needs.
Coordinate logistics for on-site registration solutions
Execute on-site registration procedures, including setup, staff training, and ongoing support
Manage and report on project progress and budget allocation
Participate in the sales process, presenting our services and products to potential clients
Promote new services and products to aid contract renewal
Uphold company procedures related to accounting, contracting, and accounts receivable
Actively embody and promote Streampoint's culture and values
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably within the event
technology space.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in Meeting and Event technology,
Demonstrated success working within a team to achieve goals and executing complex projects.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to cultivate positive client relationships
Superior problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present.
Basic understanding of computer system setup and networking; willingness to learn is a must if this is an area of inexperience
Previous experience in event planning is a plus
Willingness and ability to travel across North America; a valid passport is required. Depends on event schedules, this job may require infrequent travel to take place on Weekends
PMP certification is a plus
