Job Overview:



Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and overseeing the planning and execution of service delivery for remote mining camp operations, with a focus on modular camp construction. This role ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet operational and service quality standards.

Responsibilities:



Prepare accurate cost estimates for equipment supply and logistics, required for remote mining camp operations. Analyze service requirements and scope for remote camp projects, identifying potential cost risks and operational challenges. Draft clear and concise scope of work responses to RFPs. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Establish and maintain cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting systems for ongoing projects. Manage and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Manage the proposal and bid calendar, ensuring timely submissions that meet all compliance and client requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, operational leads, and procurement, to define project requirements and ensure service quality standards are met. Travel to remote sites as necessary to assist with project setup, coordination, and delivery. This role manages subcontractors but does not directly manage a workforce. Responsible for inspecting and arranging for modular asset maintenance. Contract management from project award to closeout, including but not limited to Change Management, billing/invoicing, reviewing subcontractor progress claims and ensuring invoicing to clients is accurate and on schedule, and documentation submission. Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are being adhered to for RFPs and throughout project execution.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating and managing projects in remote areas. Proven experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and proposal development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong business writing skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. General knowledge/experience of Health, Safety and Environmental laws, policies and procedures. Willingness to travel to remote locations as needed. Travel will be sporadic but could involve week-long trips. Valid driver's license.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
