Position overview:

Ampco is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work with our innovative, energetic, and supportive team of Large Format Graphics experts who are dedicated to exceed our clients expectations. Large format graphics is high-resolution printing. It is a way of capturing images and messages on large surfaces, commonly used with commercial advertising media.

As Project Manager you will bring a minimum of 2 years Project Management experience and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the projects. To include, but limited to: setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities to team members, monitor and summarize progress of projects, prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of each project.

The successful candidate will work directly with our clients and internally with our production, planning and sales teams to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget, whilst continually updating the project Gantt chart as the projects progress.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management and sales as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • The Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager on all projects
What you bring to Ampco:
  • Proven working experience in project management (1+ years)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with not only your team and internal clients, but our external clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
