Homestead is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead common area renovation and capital improvement projects across our multi-residential properties in Ontario. Description
As Project Manager, Capital Projects, you'll oversee the planning and execution of capital improvement initiatives across our Ontario portfolio. Projects may include upgrades to building systems, upgrades to common areas and amenities, and more, often spanning multiple sites simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, tendering, execution, and closeout
Collaborate with In-house Maintenance, Property Management, and Senior Leadership teams
Coordinate schedules and deliverables across multiple job sites
Monitor budgets, manage change orders, and report progress to stakeholders
Identify risks, resolve contractor or site issues, and uphold health & safety standards
Conduct site visits for quality assurance and maintain inspection documentation
Qualifications
Experience working in multi-residential or institutional buildings and asset
Background in engineering, construction management, or architecture an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in capital improvements or residential renovations Strong knowledge of building systems, renovation practices, and Ontario Building Code
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently
Expertise in contractor oversight, cost control, and project documentation
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly across Ontario
Preferred Assets
Experience working in multi-residential or institutional buildings.
Background in engineering, construction management, or architecture.
