Job Description

Infosys is seeking SAP BW HANA. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, British Columbia / Mississauga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• At least 7-8 years of experience in SAP BW HANA projects, including 3+ years\' experience in full-life cycle implementation projects in SAP BW HANA and S4 HANA.
• Expert knowledge on BW HANA, modelling concepts and reporting.
• Develop application road maps/implementation approach & project plans for BW on SAP HANA
• Prior experience with S4 implementation will be beneficial. Functional knowledge on Order to Cash and Point of Sales.
• Provide best practice in area of BW/HANA implementation on architectural and conceptual level
• Deep understanding of the legacy BW infrastructure and relationship to HANA objects

i) Info Cubes and Multi-providers vs ADSO\'s and Composite Views
ii) Leveraging BW Info objects for HANA Views w/Hierarchies * Experience/Understanding of SAP BW migration process from BW 7.4 architecture to BW 7.5 / BW4/HANA objects

• Ability to understand complex requirements and architect end to end Analytics solution comprising of ETL, HANA, reporting components
• Good understanding of HANA data provisioning using SLT, SDI, BODS, real-time replication
• Hands on experience with Calculation views, HANA SQL, security using analytical privilege
• Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team
• Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.
• Present solutions and options to leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams
• Experience in SAP HANA modelling and scripting.
• Experience in SAP BW modelling and BEX queries.
• Strong experience on SAP BW on HANA modelling and building end-to-end data flows with A-DSOs, Open ODSs, Composite Provider, AMDP scripting and queries.
• Strong experience in native HANA modelling - CDS, SQL Scripting, Graphical view-modelling, SDA extraction.
• Design, build data flows, develop Process chains to load and monitor data loading.
• Implement performance tuning techniques in SAP BW/HANA.
• Hands-on expertise in Standard and Custom Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, Filters, Data Slices, Characteristic relationships, Currency Translation, Planning Layouts.
• Hands-on experience in creating web templates.
• Good knowledge in ABAP is desirable.
• Self-sufficient, strong SAP Finance, Manufacturing process, CPG Industry functional knowledge.
• Must have worked on minimum one end to end implementation projects in SAP BW/4 HANA using SAP S/4 HANA as source system.
• Must have hands on experience in all areas of SAP BW/4 HANA, which includes Modelling, Extraction (LO, COPA, Finance, Generic extractor), BW reporting.
• S/4 HANA BW/4HANA Integration through ODP ABAP CDS views as Data Provisioning, CDS views experience.
• SAP BW/4 HANA Traditional BW (ADSO, CP etc) plus Native HANA based BW/4 HANA using CDS view on S/4 HANA is expected for project need.
• Must be able to discuss different business teams and prepare functional and technical documents (FDD & TDD), prototyping.
• Experience on SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP BO security concepts, Authorizations, roles, teams and collaborations.
• Customer facing experience, excellent communication skill, stakeholder and escalation management.
• SAP BW/4 HANA hand on experience, BEx reports & CDS view creation in SAP BW/4 HANA
• Must have worked on both SAP BW, S/4 HANA and Non-SAP Data source for consuming data in SAP Analytics Cloud using both Live Data and Import Data connections.
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW4HANA/ HANA Modeling is required.
• ETL and performance tuning experience, including extensive AMDP, as well as ABAP coding of transformations and user exits/BADI implementations
• Experience working with internal and external auditors; gathering and producing required documentation and verbally articulating measures for auditing points.
• Experience working AFS/FMS/Retail systems is highly desired.
• Experience working with Analysis for Office/Webi is required
• Experience working with SAC, Lumira, Crystal Reports, BODS will be a plus
