Position Title: Project Manager – Environment, Social and Governance Team and Location: Retail – Open to candidates across Canada Position Summary: Accountable for the planning, execution and implementation of Parkland’s Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) goals as outlined in Parkland Sustainability Report. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, implementing and executing the project plan to meet the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction targets. The project will involve working collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders across Canada. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute the project plan to meet Parkland’s ESG goals.
  • Work with Utility Providers to obtain historical information to create baseline for current load demands and usage.
  • Work with facility managers to review existing asset database and plan execution strategy.
  • Work with facility managers and be accountable for the execution of project plan as it relates to the upgrading/replacement of existing assets.
  • Create and manage the ESG portion of capital budgets.
  • Work with utility providers to monitor the load demand and usage reductions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree or background in electrical or mechanical engineering,
  • 10 - 15 years Project Management experience working with utility service providers.
  • Previous experience in ESG projects.
  • Outstanding and professional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Strong analytical and procedural skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with excellent planning and time management abilities.
  • Experience managing projects with an IT component.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management and scheduling software.
