We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Application Development Manager (ADM) to lead and oversee critical technology initiatives for one of Canada's leading financial institutions. This role requires a combination of strong project leadership, technical understanding of the software development lifecycle, and expertise in delivering results in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple projects through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Drive Agile ceremonies and processes, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Serve as a primary liaison between stakeholders, business units, and technical teams, ensuring alignment of objectives and clear communication of progress. Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for development teams. Manage risk, issue tracking, and change requests, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize project disruptions. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including roadmaps, status reports, and post-implementation reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital banking initiatives that enhance customer experience and align with business goals. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Experience: Minimum 8-10+ years in project management, with proven success in large-scale IT projects.

Core Skills:

Strong understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies. Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in digital banking projects. Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment.
