Why this role exists



We're looking for a seasoned and highly organized Project Manager to be the crucial link between our Canadian office and our U.S. project teams. You will spearhead our existing projects and assist in entering new markets by identifying, vetting, and managing the local talent needed to execute our vision. This role requires a blend of technical construction knowledge, exceptional remote project management skills, and a keen eye for cost efficiency.

What you'll do



Project Oversight & Coordination



Act as the primary liaison between our internal design and architectural teams in Canada and the local General Contractors (GCs) and architects in the U.S

New Market Expansion



Lead the procurement, interviewing, and selection process for GCs and architects in new markets.

Remote Project Management



Weekly reporting on: Critical Path, Budget-to-Actual, and construction milestones o Develop Scope-of-Work alongside our Canadian Partners. o Tender project proposals

Technical Review



Utilize your technical renovation expertise to interpret proposals, surveys, and site plans o Identify bottlenecks and propose fixes

Cross?functional support



Partner with acquisitions team provide cost estimates for new acquisitions o Coordinate with design teams and on-site staff to execute designer's vision. o Work with Tech Support to implement automation workflows to improve virtual site management and process flow.

Budget Management & Cost Efficiency



Critically analyze bids and proposals to identify opportunities for cost savings and drive down project costs without compromising quality.

What makes you a great fit



Seasoned Project Manager:

You have proven experience in residential construction, renovation, or real estate development.

Technical Know-How:

You possess a strong technical understanding of residential construction and renovation processes. You can interpret architectural drawings, site plans, and proposals.

Remote Leadership:

You are adept at managing projects and communicating effectively with diverse teams remotely.

Organized & Detail-Oriented:

You have exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Cost-Conscious:

You have a strategic mindset with a knack for identifying cost efficiencies.

Clear Communicator:

You translate technical and project-related information into clear, actionable steps for all stakeholders.

Collaborative Spirit:

You like working across internal and external teams to solve problems and drive projects to completion.

Bonus points (not required): Fluency in Spanish is considered an asst, though not mandatory

Success in the first 6 months



New Market Launch:

Successfully procure and onboard GCs and architects for at least one new market.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement a key improvement to our remote project management workflow, likely within our Monday.com or CompanyCam platforms.

Project Win:

Successfully oversee the initial phase of a major renovation project, ensuring it is on time and on budget.

Knowledge Base Contribution:

Document best practices and standard operating procedures for the initial pre-renovation phase of a new project roll-out.
