Duration : 12 months Contract with extension possibility
Work Environment: Hybrid, 2 days a week working in Mississauga office
Hours: 37.5 working hours per week

The Project Manager, Marketplace is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain the business-technology roadmap for client\'s Marketplace. Defined projects include the development of a launch playbook to support technology feature releases, building sustainable documentation and tracking capabilities to support the roadmap, and special projects to support Marketplace compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage a technology roadmap to deliver the vision of Marketplace.
• Work with cross functional and internal Marketplace teams to develop and present sound business cases to secure technology funding for proposed initiatives.
• Partner with product managers (local and international) and business stakeholders to ensure clarity on scope and business requirements and on time delivery of Marketplace tech initiatives.
• Build and maintain technology roadmap documentation and tracking capabilities to identify tech initiatives and provide summary reports to business with timelines, deliverables and risks clearly identified.
• Manage a development and launch playbook for tech feature releases to the seller community and internal teams by engaging appropriate cross-functional teams and building processes.
• Execute special projects to support Marketplace compliance in the areas of (but not limited to) Product Content, Payments, and Tax.
• Use critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage potential risks that will arise.
• Work in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical and business requirements, scope, and schedule of projects.

• Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields.
• 6+ years of business/ecommerce experience is required
• Analytical, organized, ability to prioritize, detail-oriented.
• Experience working in retail/e-Commerce environment is an asset.
• Ability to assess a situation / challenge and understand downstream implication to process, systems, stakeholder experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross functional teams is a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Experience in Retail Merchandising, Technology or e-Commerce Operations an asset.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Data Analytical tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL) preferred.
• Ability to work remotely & from the office as required.
