Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate estimates for various construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that all estimates align with project specifications and budgets.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project plans and specifications. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Utilize estimating software to generate accurate pricing models. Collaborate with project managers to review project scopes and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities. Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing strategies, and construction methodologies. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the estimating process.
