Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our team and lead industrial projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Manage a multi-functional team, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget \xc2\xb7 Create metal fabrication and electrical fabrication drawings in 2D CAD including General Arrangements, Base frame fabrication, building cross sections, wall and roof panel forming details, etc. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards \xc2\xb7 Ability to schedule and manage quality inspections, purchasing lead times, and human resource project planning \xc2\xb7 Lead the preparation of detailed project plans, including schedules and budgets \xc2\xb7 Oversee project execution and ensure that all milestones are met \xc2\xb7 Communicate project progress to stakeholders \xc2\xb7 Provide leadership and guidance to project teams \xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients \xc2\xb7 Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans \xc2\xb7 Track and report project performance metrics \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate Skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent Office 365, MS Projects, Communication (verbal and written) -Expert CAD skills with 2D drafting. \xc2\xb7 Able to meet deadlines \xc2\xb7 Able to read and understand metal fabrication drawings to produce Bills of Materials \xc2\xb7 Able to read and understand electrical fabrication drawings to produce Bills of Materials \xc2\xb7 Ability to lead multi-functional teams \xc2\xb7 Ability to read, understand, and follow complex client specifications for industrial applications \xc2\xb7 Ability to schedule and manage quality inspections, purchasing lead times, and human resource project planning Nice to have: \xc2\xb7 Purchasing experience \xc2\xb7 Quality Control experience Experience:

  • Metal fabrication
  • Electrical integration
  • Structural Steel
  • Project management experience of projects with a value over $2M
  • P.Eng in Mechanical or Structural engineering or similar
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Compensation will be commensurate with the successful applicant\xe2\x80\x99s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.
