Job Description

What you'll be doing


Lead and execute projects of all sizes, creating schedules, budgets, installation plans, and commissioning timelines. Identify and manage risks, ensuring safety standards are met and potential issues are eliminated before they become problems. Collaborate with stakeholders such as operations, maintenance, procurement, contractors, engineering firms, regulatory agencies, and municipalities. Drive multidisciplinary projects with strong business sense, including large-scale greenfield builds, building construction, equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and project closeout. Track progress & report results to the Engineering Manager, adjusting scope, schedule, or budget as needed. Oversee CAPEX projects across Atlantic's network, ensuring technical quality, cost control, scheduling, and safety. Resolve technical issues during design, engineering, installation, and commissioning, whether it's a single machine, a full production line, or an entire facility. Prepare detailed reports for management and other stakeholders. Confer with project teams to provide technical advice and problem-solving support. Oversee technical content of procedures and programming for training purposes.

What we're looking for




2-3 years of experience delivering projects on time and on budget. Educational background preferred in Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical Engineering Proven ability to lead and manage small to large-scale projects. Strong design, planning, organization, and communication skills. Hands-on problem solver with a track record of critical thinking and sound judgment. High sense of ownership, able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent project management tools. Willingness to travel and work independently on-site when required.

Nice to have




Knowledge of OHSA, building codes, electrical and environmental regulations, and experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the corrugated or packaging industry.
