Position Overview: *
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Portfolio & Project Controls, the Project Coordinator will be responsible to provide project coordination support for key cross functional projects and their underlying activities within the organization. Throughout the course of the project, the Project Coordinator will track any changes, progress and issues, and adjust the schedule and other project details as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project documentation for cross-functional projects including meeting minutes, RAID items (risks, actions, issues and decisions), project plans (Work Breakdown Schedules), project charter, lessons learned, resource assignments and all other project-based documents
  • Updating & maintaining all project documents to ensure accuracy and currency
  • Liaison with cross functional Project Leads on project related activities and material including scheduling of project meetings as requested, and delivery of project events and meetings
  • Ongoing evaluation of project activity and reporting on project progress, including project meeting notes, weekly status reports, updates to Risk matrix, and registers (action/issue, decision)
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for Xplore Inc. systems/tools and operational processes
  • Responding to inquiries, explaining and clarifying project material
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a customer focused environment is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience working within cross- functional teams and/or projects including project administration
  • Demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to position communication to align with Project goals and objectives and business goals and corporate messaging
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Professionalism and tact in representing the company to our customers (both internal and external)
  • A proven ability to multi-task and the ability to shift smoothly between and amongst many different projects and initiatives
  • Comfortable to be self-directed where required within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Outlook, MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
