Opportunity Summary

We are actively looking for a Project Coordinatorto join our team on various commercial and residential projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a team that collaborates to provide creative solutions for our clients and external/internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting the Project Manager & Superintendents to ensure that delivery of critical project elements is expedited and completed. Process all change orders, including assessing cost and schedule impact. Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate tracking log including descriptions Review and submit subcontractor progress claims for PM approval. Preparing and assisting with the site documentation and/or distribution of RFI's, Site Instructions, submittals and shop drawings utilizing Procore. Contribute to all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence and customer expectations. Work with accounting department to ensure project accounting is accurate and timely. Performing routine site visits and attending site meetings as requested by Project Manager, recording minutes and distributing to all stakeholders. Contribute to maintaining project safety culture. Coordinate submittals and gather all close-out documents, including drawings, warranties, operating, and maintenance binders. Model the Company Values

Qualifications

Completion of secondary education in a Construction Management or Engineering related discipline. 4+ years of experience working in construction project management or field experience Familiarity with drawings, contract administration, document management, scheduling software and change order procedures. Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with Procore experience an asset. Experience or willingness to learn Lean construction methods. Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, methods, and procedures. Excellent relationship building and track record of integrity when dealing with Clients, Trades and Consultants. Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to establish positive working relationships with a variety of people. Experience using MS Project or other PM software. Ability to work in a team environment.
