Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project planning, scheduling, and execution within our ICI electrical division. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager and field teams in coordinating day-to-day activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient communication between all stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with the coordination, documentation, and administration of electrical construction projects.
Prepare and track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and purchase orders.
Support in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, revisions, meeting minutes, and change orders.
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist with budget tracking, cost coding, and progress reporting.
Conduct site visits as required to support project progress and coordination.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards across all assigned tasks.
Working Conditions
Combination of office and on-site work in active construction environments.
May be exposed to various weather conditions and site hazards; adherence to PPE and safety protocols is mandatory.
Travel to multiple project sites within the GTA may be required.
Requires multitasking, time management, and collaboration in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Qualifications & Skills Required
1-3 years of experience in electrical or construction project coordination, preferably in the ICI sector.
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
Knowledge of electrical systems, construction drawings, and project documentation processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and project management tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD).
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
