Join Us



ngx is looking for a talented Project Coordinator to join our team! This is offered as a hybrid role, with the ideal candidate being able to work in our Vancouver studio about 2-4 days per week. This position operates within ngx's Project Management Office (PMO) and reports to Esme Cunningham (Director of Knowledge).



The Role



We seek a Project Coordinator who is unflappable, highly organised, flexible, and solution-oriented in the face of deadlines, while maintaining a sense of humour. The Project Coordinator is the jack of all trades who can juggle responsibilities and deadlines from multiple projects, task actionables to their project teammates, and adhere to established processes while still being flexible enough to ensure the project's forward momentum. Project coordinators also contribute to execution strategies at the project level.

Some of the work involves:

supporting and maintaining the project documentation through detailed meeting summaries and minutes, analytic reports, and preparing deliverable decks. Tasking and keeping track of disparate elements of project deliverables. Tracking and distributing feedback from our client. Setting up various systems in support of our projects while working closely with the Project Manager and Producer. Procuring intangible assets (e.g., photography, film footage, audio, font files) and completing purchase orders.

Contributing to projects' process and execution strategy Set up and maintenance of knowledge systems, project documentation, and project management tools / platforms Supporting team's time tracking accuracy Note-taking and meeting minute writing (client-facing and internal) Task management and tracking Intangible / digital asset procurement Feedback tracking and distribution Domestic and international travel booking

Demonstrated interest in new and creative technology, games, or storytelling Familiarity with work management platforms like Wrike, Notion, Dropbox, etc. Ability to interpret project documents, including but not limited to budgets, workplans, roadmaps, blueprints, floor plans, renders, & elevations Continued desire to learn about project management, exhibit design, content strategy, and creative technology
