Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Transit Systems, the Project Coordinator is responsible for aiding in the coordination, scheduling, reporting, and quality control functions of transit construction projects. The incumbent will assist with design coordination, systems procuring, installation coordination, and testing and commissioning. Coordination activities related to the construction of rail systems is the primary focus of this role.
As a Project Coordinator at Graham, you will:


  • Perform a variety of duties including updating schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, and monitoring labour material and equipment activities on the project
  • Participate in detailed schedule development for systems works.
  • Track the status of design packages, site instructions, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Provide frequent project tracking system updates that feed reports and dashboards.
  • Work with Project Managers and Superintendents on site to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues.
  • Attend all project team meetings, and document team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions.
  • Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Assist in gathering data required for input of regular status reports for company executives and project steering committees.

Qualifications / Education:

  • Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required.
  • Experience with rail construction and systems, or SCADA and telecom systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Viso and MS Project.
  • Proficient in using scheduling and project management software such as InEight.
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and motivated as a self-starter.
  • Strong team player and collaborator.
