As a Project Coordinator at EBC you will:Read technical and administrative project specifications; Inspect work daily to ensure that it meets the specified standards; Inform Project Manager of project development and discuss methods planned with him and the Superintendent; Order critical material with suppliers in collaboration with the Job Superintendent; Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting; Prepare daily reports as related to the crew, progress and issues; Provide document control for correspondence, submittals, RFI's, NCR, etc. Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as-builts; Organize and participate in various meetings; Establish and keep necessary communications between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals and client; Assist in carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site related to project; Extensive travelling is to be expected.(Northern Ontario, etc)

Requirements



Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Technical background with professional accreditation (P.Eng./ CET) or combination of technical training and/or related experience. Experience in contracting industry (heavy civil preferred). Read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings. Scheduling experience and analysis skills. Supervision/personnel experience. Computer proficiency. Written/oral communications. Presentation skills. Problem solving and organizational skills. Cost analysis, control, and reporting. Contracts - Commercial knowledge. Negotiating skills.
