to support our construction team and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the

Project Manager

, the Project Coordinator plays a key role in the successful execution of construction projects. This is an

in-office position

responsible for coordinating schedules, managing purchase orders, tracking permits and inspections, and supporting day-to-day project administration.

This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in a structured office environment, enjoys managing details, and excels at keeping multiple projects organized and on track.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction and renovation projects. Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager and site teams. Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for materials, finishes, and subcontracted work. Coordinate with suppliers and trades to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Manage permit applications, approvals, inspections, and related documentation. Track project documentation including drawings, specifications, selections, change orders, and invoices. Assist with RFIs (Requests for Information) and follow up on responses as required. Maintain accurate project records using construction project management software. Serve as a key point of contact between the office, site teams, trades, suppliers, and municipal authorities. Support cost tracking and budget control by monitoring commitments and invoices. Identify potential scheduling, permitting, or supply issues and proactively communicate solutions. Contribute to process improvements and organizational best practices as the company grows.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in residential construction, renovations, or a construction coordination role. Solid understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and building processes. Hands-on experience with scheduling, purchase orders, and permit coordination. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with construction project management and scheduling software (preferred). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment. Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is an asset.
