Our Coast Catalyst Accelerator Program is designed to support small business owners and entrepreneurs in developing and scaling their businesses through targeted training, mentorship, and resources. This program aligns with our mission of fostering sustainable economic growth on the Sunshine Coast.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator with strong facilitation and project management skills to oversee the delivery of the Coast Catalyst Accelerator Program from February to April. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Sunshine Coast business community and the unique challenges and opportunities faced by local entrepreneurs.
This part-time role requires 5-10 hours per week, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes both in-office/at-home work and attending weekly in-person workshops on the Sunshine Coast.
You must live on the Southern Sunshine Coast to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, managing participant communications, and collaborating with the Program Manager and facilitators to ensure program success.
Act as the primary point of contact for program participants, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.
Assist with organizing and facilitating live webinars, in-person workshops, and events.
Support promotional efforts, including email updates and program-related content for social media.
Procure supplies for workshops, including printed course materials, and other necessary items.
Monitor participant progress and maintain accurate records to support program evaluation and reporting.
Gather and analyze feedback from participants to compile program performance reports.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities.
Proven facilitation skills, including leading discussions and fostering participant engagement.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
Preferred:
Experience coordinating entrepreneurial or business development programs.
Familiarity with hybrid (online and in-person) event coordination.
Understanding of the Sunshine Coast business community and local entrepreneurial landscape.
