We have an opening for an experienced
Project Coordinator
. The successful candidate brings demonstrated office administration skills, highly developed interpersonal communications skills, and is highly organized.
#
Responsibilities:
Project Coordinator
Provide project support and coordination to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
Create and maintain project execution plans.
Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate project tracking, documentation, and data entry.
Create, monitor, and update detailed project schedules.
Provide cost estimates and support cost control activities, including project invoicing.
Support and maintain compliance with the Quality Management Program.
Summarize and evaluate project financial outcomes at completion.
Conduct shop drawing reviews and approvals.
Complete material and cost take-offs to support estimating and construction planning.
Prepare drawing markups for quoting purposes.
Other duties as required.
Financial Support
Complete billing and invoicing for various clients.
Project administration, including the timely performance of administrative tasks to initiate, monitor progress, close, bill, and archive project files digitally.
Business & Marketing
Support the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other proposal materials.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, which include the ability to prepare reports, format documents, and draft official letters and correspondence.
Ability to work within a deadline-oriented team environment, to prioritize work, and to work independently.
Strong organizational skills.

Additional Assets:
Post-secondary education in business administration, project management, or accounting.
Experience working in the electric utility, or a related engineering/construction environment would be an asset.
Experience with electric utility project estimating and project management would be an asset.
Previous experience with Accumatica, or other Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software systems is required.
