Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator with a background in civil construction and/or engineering. As a Project Coordinator, you will support the successful execution of civil construction projects by coordinating and tracking site activities, assisting with inspections, and ensuring accurate reporting. You will work closely with field teams and leadership to keep projects running smoothly and safely. The opportunity will provide a combination of on site and in office work, based out of our office in Revelstoke BC.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with project setup, documentation, administration, and working with the Project Manager Request BC One call utility locates Create site project binders for crews Track and report project progress daily Create and maintain monthly progress payment reports for the Project Manager Perform quality control assessments and project inspections Assist with coordinating project activities and developing project schedules Review material orders and invoices to ensure accuracy Assist with job close-out documentation, conducting deficiency walkthrough and preparing deficiency restoration plans Assist with onsite meetings and deliveries for crew Perform other labour duties as required by management.

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract required Successfully completed their technical diploma or degree in civil engineering Intermediate knowledge of means/methods, construction sequences, equipment and materials Experience reading drawings and specifications Must be personable, able to work independently and as a team, and have a strong work ethic Natural ability to solve problems and communicate clearly and effectively Proficient in Windows programs (e.g. MS Project, MS Office, PDF Programs) CAD experience considered an asset Estimating experience considered an asset
