Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized

Project Coordinator

to direct, organize, and control project activities under the supervision of a Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a key liaison role between clients and the project team, ensuring smooth project execution without disrupting client living conditions. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate and manage restoration projects to minimize disruption to clients' living environments. Ensure proper care and protection of client belongings during restoration. Act as the primary liaison between the client and the Project Manager. Prepare project schedules and ensure timelines are met. Manage material selection and accurate ordering processes. Maintain clean and safe job sites that meet safety standards. Obtain required approvals for work and any change orders involving sub-trades. Conduct site walkthroughs, manage deficiency corrections, and secure final client sign-offs. Manage subcontractors within established budget guidelines. Ensure timely completion of projects, often under tight deadlines. Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing project progress, issues, and solutions. Support and report to senior project managers.

Qualifications:



Minimum 3 years

of experience in the Fire/Water Restoration industry or equivalent experience in construction.

IICRC Certification

in Water/Fire Restoration is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices. Proficiency in

Xactimate/XACTanalysis

or similar estimating software is an asset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong drive for project completion and client satisfaction. Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to accept accountability and take initiative.

Additional Requirements:



Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Must be willing and able to respond to

24/7 emergency calls

for flood or fire-related disasters (training provided). A

hands-on approach

is required for each project; this is not a desk-only role.
