About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the Project Managers and Superintendents in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a project. This role will be working on a new state of the art Recreation Centre with full amenities including an aquatics center and two NHL sized rinks to name a couple of stand-out features. This position will be based at the project site in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
As a Project Coordinator at Graham, you will:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material and subtrade costs
  • Monitor cost accruals and reviews with the Project Manager on a regular basis
  • Review and code timesheets to ensure proper cost allocation
  • Develop a schedule with the assistance of the Project Manager and assist with the development of schedules as well as monitor and update schedules on a regular basis
  • Review and monitor actual construction vs. schedule, identifying critical path and keep abreast of manpower loading and materials deliveries
  • Submit requisitions for materials and equipment as required for project execution, and complete receiving documentation
  • Control drawings, drawing records and revisions
  • Control site instructions and change orders
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation and records of all testing and inspections
  • Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Certificate or degree in Construction or Engineering is required
  • Previous experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is an asset
  • 1 - 5 years of experience in construction
  • Outstanding professional communication and writing skills
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • High level of organization with a methodical approach to workloads
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work under pressure
  • Energetic self-starter who is committed to providing outstanding service
  • Takes initiative when providing support to senior team members and project leaders
  • Open minded with the ability to accept feedback, and pivot with the needs of the business
  • Dependable, collaborative, and committed to quality work
