Position Summary





As a Project Coordinator (PC), you will join a dynamic and diverse project management team dedicated to executing a wide range of impactful projects--from straightforward soil disposal to large-scale remediation, demolition, and environmental construction initiatives. In this role, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance from seasoned project managers and senior leadership, ensuring you have the support needed to thrive. Duties and Responsibilities




Provide project administration support, including meeting prep, filing, travel bookings, and expenses. Create and distribute project documentation, plans, and training materials. Monitor LEMS, costs, and timesheets daily; support reporting and financial tracking. Assist with estimates, funding requests, change orders, scheduling, forecasting, and closeout. Manage invoicing processes, purchase orders, and field paperwork approvals. Support client communications and prepare reports to aid decision-making.



Qualifications




Post-secondary education or 3+ years of project coordination experience. Strong organizational, multitasking, and reporting skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to spot and address issues early. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently. Strong communicator with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.



Working Conditions & Physical Demands





This role may require a combination of office-based, remote, and on-site work depending on business needs. Employees should be prepared for:


Extended periods of sitting, standing, or computer use Occasional travel to operational sites or client locations Exposure to outdoor or industrial environments, including varying weather and terrain Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols

Work Environment





This position will be responsible for coordinating projects primarily in the northern territories and will require travel to our North of 60 project sites. Travel uplift, accommodations and flights are provided or paid for by KBL.
