Operations Coordinator
to join our team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The
Operations Coordinator
is the key role that keeps everything moving -- from scheduling and client communication to logistics, document management, and project delivery. You'll be working directly with the CEO, while supporting field and laboratory staff, helping multiple departments stay aligned.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in:
Managing and updating project trackers, schedules, and deliverables.
Communicating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate timelines.
Supporting proposal preparation and perform follow-up with potential clients.
Handling administrative compliance tasks (CBRE Achilles, ISNetworld, and WorkSafeBC online platforms; municipal licenses and permits, etc.).
Collaborating with administrative staff to prepare supply orders, vendor coordination, and inventory management.
Assisting with HR support, recruitment, and onboarding.
Supporting the Laboratory Manager with chain-of-custody processing, documentation management, and report tracking.
Collaborating with the administrative and technical teams to implement workflow improvements.
Proactively supporting departments and team members as and when needed.
Assisting business development efforts including market research, potential client engagement, promotional resource development, and procurement platform monitoring (BCBid, MERX, ConstructConnect, Bonfire, SAP, etc).
Spearheading new initiatives such as territory expansion, new areas of services, and awarded project bids.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Post-secondary diploma or degree in science- or business management-related field of study, or demonstrable project and/or business management experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or operations.
Skills and Attributes
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite; LIMS or CRM experience is an asset).
Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Confident verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a busy team.
Flexibility to occasionally work beyond standard hours when required.
Familiarity with WorkSafeBC occupational health and safety regulation, relevant environmental regulations, and/or construction management workflows is an asset.
Resourceful, innovative, and responsive troubleshooting skills

Compensation:
$25-$30/hr, commensurate with experience
Hours:
Full-Time - 40 hrs/per week.
