Were building a sustainable network of high-tech, end-to-end manufacturing solutions to better withstand disruptive events, serve scientific discovery, and reach those in need.For more information, please visitPosition Summary:This role focuses in supporting the Technical Operations department in Project Management activities of site-specific strategic, Capital projects, and client-specific projects through collaboration with Engineering project teams, internal and external stakeholders. The Project Coordinators responsibility is to assist and support the Project Manager to execute a variety of internal or client funded projects (scope, costs, timelines, etc.). Key activities include but not limited to; daily project coordination, active communication, tracking of minutes, actions, risks, and preparation of reports for senior leadership.Position Responsibilities:Daily project coordination, active communication, tracking of minutes, actions, risks, and preparation of reports for senior leadership.Facilitate in identifying and track critical path activities, risks, and develop contingency and acceleration plans.Support in government funding deliverables includes but not limited to scope changes, progress reporting, and time reporting.Serve as a point of contact on assigned projects/project activities from beginning to end of the project with accountability for project deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction.Coordinate meetings with Resilience, vendors, contractors, and other external groups as needed, including organizing all meeting materials and logistics that can include agendas, minutes, actions, risks, and others. All related documents such as agendas are to be provided in advance of any meeting, and meeting minutes within 2 days following the meetings.Coordinate with vendors, review and negotiate proposals for terms, conditions and assumptions which impact project activities and have business implications. Consequently, advise key stakeholders to converge to a joint team decision.Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders and contributors including Design Firm, General Contractor or Construction Manager, Client Managers, Procurement, Technical Services, Quality, Maintenance and Validation Operations to facilitate execution of engineering related work.Facilitate schedule, cost, and monthly performance.Prepare and distribute correspondence, documents, and reports using MS Project, Excel, and Word.Ensure involvement and active participation in assigned projects and all levels within the Resilience departments.Creates / maintains metrics in support of the reporting requirements.Performs all other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Working experience in operations, engineering or project management; preferably in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical environmentPharmaceutical Product Development or Technical Operations experienceBasic knowledge of Canadian, US, and European Good Manufacturing ProceduresStrong leadership and conflict resolution skillsWell organized and detail orientedAbility to prioritize multiple tasksStrong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal English) skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influenceGood knowledge of continuous improvement techniquesDemonstrated, well developed analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications:Direct experience with biological productsProject Management Professional certificationUniversity degree in engineering or science related fieldAdditional Requirements:Ability to be effective in a highly productive team environment and within high pressure deadline-oriented situationsHigh level of relationship building, judgement, problem solving, influence, persuasion, and negotiation for both internal and external clientsAbility to adjust quickly to changing priorities and to client and team personalitiesAbility to work independently in an unstructured environmentBEHAVIOURAL:Demonstrated ability to apply the following behavioural competencies on the job:Decision Making: Utilizing effective processes to make decisions within responsibility areaProblem Solving: Anticipating, analysing, diagnosing, and resolving problemsOrganization and Planning: Utilizing logical, systematic, and orderly procedures to meet objectives.
