About the position
Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of DARO's consulting and other projects. They will focus on tracking the priorities, deliverables, and timelines for multiple projects with multiple clients, as directed by Project Leads. They will be working on diverse data and technology projects related to social good, with leading organizations in the non-profit and philanthropic sectors.
In addition, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for working on and completing project deliverables as required, learning about clients' needs, helping to diagnose and design solutions for client pain points, and for effective and positive client management. This can include: conducting user needs interviews, distilling user or technical requirements from interviews, resolving technical data/workflow issues, developing elements of information architecture, and implementation support for solutions.
This is a learning position - the Project Coordinator is expected to rapidly learn and incorporate new skills, and advance rapidly in the company if successful to independently lead projects.
You will also support the company by coordinating other activities related to our projects, social mission, and objectives as needed. This will involve working on exciting and unique projects in this sector, and interacting with key sector leaders.
Responsibilities
Your specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating and managing projects.
Developing, coordinating, and owning project plans and timelines - and leading their execution.
Reporting to and communicating with clients and partners on a regular basis, using appropriate methods, channels, and tools.
Interacting with and managing vendors according to project plans.
Creating effective, clear deliverables and communication materials as needed (e.g. training documents, project updates, charts, and visuals).
Participating in and supporting the work of the Senior Manager and staff on other projects as needed.
Taking on administrative responsibilities as needed, including scheduling client meetings and stakeholder interviews.
Learning (self-directed) about new skills, technology, and topics as needed.

Location: Montreal preferred, but willing to hire remote throughout Canada for the right candidate.
Montreal staff work a hybrid schedule in our Griffintown office (in-office 3 days per week, WFH for 2 days)*

Pay: CAD $50,000-$65,000 per year
