inCAN Developments is a well-established real estate development company operating in Ontario and British Columbia. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts within the real estate construction industry. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes and management software. The Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring that timelines are met, and facilitating communication among team members.

Duties



Assist in managing the end-to-end development of projects, including securing various approvals such as Zoning Bylaw Amendments, Site Plan Agreements, Condominium Registrations, and Minor Variances. Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules. Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including drawings and schematics. Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project tracking and reporting. Review and assess technical reports and drawings to ensure quality and accuracy Conduct construction estimating to support budget planning and resource allocation. Maintain organized records of project progress, changes, and communications. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes for project discussions. Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals. Provide full administrative support to the company executives, ensuring efficient daily operations, and assisting other colleagues when requested. Handle professional correspondence and communications on behalf of the President, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Coordinate company events and special projects, including organizing large annual events like the yearly Holiday Luncheon (including vendor/entertainment booking). Maintain highly organized files, records, and documentation for easy access, ensuring seamless office operations.

Qualifications



A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required. Acceptable fields of study include, but are not limited to, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or other related programs. Proficiency in drawing review and understanding of construction documents. Experience with construction estimating techniques is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of construction processes and best practices is highly desirable. Previous experience in project management or coordination within the construction industry is a plus. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and technical contexts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
