Job Summary:



Direct Underground Inc. is seeking an experienced project coordinator to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as a background in civil engineering or construction management. Key Responsibilities:



Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being completed according to specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and progress reports. Prepare and collaborate to submit bids to potential clients in a timely manner. Track and review project costs to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Assist in the completion of as-built records using GPS technology to accurately document the layout and alignment of water mains and sewer systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:



Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project coordinator in the watermain, sewer, and road construction industry. Extensive knowledge of civil construction processes, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and locates. Valid G driver's license minimum and ability to travel to various job sites within the GTA area.
