We are seeking a Project Coordinator with an engineering background and experience in manufacturing and with Autodesk software. This role is ideal for hands-on individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a dynamic engineering environment. You'll work on turning ideas into reality, simplifying complex problems, and building practical solutions. Expect exposure to every stage of the manufacturing process, from design to hands on shop-floor builds, problem solving, and project execution, with support and mentorship from experienced engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Translate customer requirements into practical engineering and manufacturing solutions.
Perform Research and Development (R&D) and design work including 3D models, 2D drawings, shop/assembly drawings.
Develop and review mechanical drawings, piping and instrumentation drawings, and organize/review electrical drawings and processes.
Prepare and maintain bill of materials, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
Maintain and improve engineering file systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and project processes.
Develop and track project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate procurement of materials, parts, and resources for projects.
Monitor project progress, update stakeholders, and flag risks or delays with proposed solutions.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, or related discipline such as EIT, B.Eng, Mechanical Engineering Technology
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
Experience in project coordination or project management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Exposure to manufacturing environments and processes.
