We are currently seeking to fill a

Project Coordinator

position in the Administration department at our Vancouver office.

Objectives of this role



Coordinate external and internal resources, ensuring that projects remain within schedule, scope, and budget. Assuring internal staff is on track with deadlines is crucial. Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals. Analyze & communicate project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results. Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities.
The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates weekly to relevant management channels. The position will include working closely with the company's engineering staff and management group, as well as clients and contractors.

Responsibilities



Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with the deadlines and requirements Serve as a point of communication between company teams and external resources Track project deliverables, performance, and progress Prepare reports, presentations, meetings, memos, and to-do lists Assign and monitor resources effectively Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan

Required skills and qualifications



Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take initiative in resolving issues Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills Experience in coordinating teams and clients Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management Proficiency in MS Office Suite Bachelor's/Associate degree (or equivalent) in Project Management / Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Business Administration or another relevant field 1 year of construction-related industry experience is considered an asset Experience in project coordination is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
