RBKS Construction Ltd. Is seeking a Project Coordinator for both Commercial and Residential projects. Responsibilities include communicating with sub-trades, reviewing all project requirements, meeting on site to verify scope of work, preparing bids and quotes, Field coordination and Quality Control/Quality Assurance. May include assisting with administrative coordination of projects, budget tracking, and AR duties. All work to be performed under the direct supervision of a Civil Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall construction coordination from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Owners
Review plans, specs and addendums
Prepare quotes and bid submissions
Evaluating bids for upcoming projects and repeat customers
Meet with Engineers and sub-trades in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
Assist with preparation of regular and accurate billings for Project Manager
Assist with project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the teams ongoing development and progression
Monitor, interpret and forecast cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
Report directly to the owners of the company and civil engineer on staff
Other responsibilities likely to be added as candidate gains experience and familiarity with company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Project Management (Building Construction) or a Technology Diploma in Architecture, Building or Engineering/Construction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Computer proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Pursuing a degree in a construction related field or Construction Management
Must be comfortable reading plans
Must have a valid drivers' license and be able to submit a clean driver's abstract
Must have reliable transportation
