Job Description

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to be the right hand to our Project Manager -- a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives on juggling multiple projects and deadlines. You'll help keep projects on track from concept to completion, coordinating between clients, consultants, municipalities, and internal design teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves structure, thrives under pressure, and wants to grow within an ambitious and supportive firm.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in overseeing multiple active projects at various stages. Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met. Prepare, organize, and submit Development Permit (DP) and Building Permit (BP) applications. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow. Maintain project documentation, correspondence logs, and progress tracking. Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow-ups. Assist with quality control and document reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency. Support internal resource planning and help identify potential scheduling or coordination issues. Provide administrative support to the team.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination within an architecture, engineering, or construction environment. Strong understanding of the architectural project lifecycle and consultant coordination process. Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Familiarity with the City of Edmonton's eServices portal and municipal submission requirements is a strong asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and general project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, or similar). Experience with Revit or AutoCAD is an asset (not required). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Why Join Dualita

A collaborative environment that values initiative and growth. Opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects across Western Canada. Flexible, supportive, and design-driven culture that encourages autonomy and innovation. Competitive compensation and potential for advancement as the firm continues to grow.
