The New Digital Platform (NDP) and Market-Creating Innovation (MCI) teams are at the centre of WVC\'s innovation hub. We are focused on building a digitally enabled organization and exploring new engagement and market opportunities to help everyone be a philanthropist.

We work in agile with a lean startup approach and design thinking, asking our team of developers, designers, advisors, and experts to think beyond and find effective and efficient technology-infused solutions that put people at the centre of everything that we deliver.

Our work will be instrumental in laying the foundation to build a new digital ecosystem for WVC.

Job Purpose:

As a Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to support the successful implementation of projects that aim to build a platform for all to catalyze good in the world and help shift the typical charitable value exchange from simply \xe2\x80\x9cgood will\xe2\x80\x9d to effective \xe2\x80\x9cimpact\xe2\x80\x9d.

You will work collaboratively with the team and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline. Your role is critical in providing administrative and operational support to the team, including project planning and tracking, documentation, and reporting.

You will be responsible for managing project timelines, tracking project budgets, coordinating project meetings, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members. You will also be responsible for conducting research and providing insights that help the team to develop and refine the platform\'s features and capabilities, while ensuring that it remains the #1 brand and destination to do good in the world.

As a key member of the incubator team, you will help to identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure that projects are aligned with the organization\'s goals and strategic priorities. Your attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask will be essential to the success of the incubator team and its projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications
  • Track and report project progress and status to stakeholders and other departments as needed
  • Manage project risks and issues, and escalate them as necessary
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, and ensure that they are managed effectively
  • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders and other departments as needed
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support project team members by providing guidance and assistance as needed
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
Qualifications:

Must-Haves
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience working in a project management role or related field
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
