Project Coordinator

to join us at our facility on Annacis Island in Delta. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced fabrication environment.

Reporting to the Manager of Projects, the Project Coordinator will support the execution of fabrication projects by coordinating schedules, materials, documentation and communication across departments and with clients. You'll work closely with the Project Managers to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired internal and client-related results.

Highlights of job duties include:

Support Project Managers by coordinating day-to-day project activities, schedules, and documentation Track project milestones, material deliveries, and production progress Assist in preparing and maintaining job packages Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Assist in resolving issues related to materials, scheduling, or documentation

Here's what we're seeking in the successful candidate:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project support role (fabrication or industrial setting preferred) A general understanding of metal fabrication practices (cutting, welding, machining, testing) Commitment to customer service and workplace excellence Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A positive and team-oriented approach to work. Dependable and trustworthy. Ability to prioritize, manage time, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work well under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:

Experience in working in a unionized environment and with multi-disciplinary trades Process pipe fabrication Pressure pipe/vessel fabrication Structural, modular fabrication and assembly ASME, API, ASTM, CWB codes of construction Review of assembly drawings, isometric drawings, 2D and 3D shop fabrication drawings Project logistics, i.e. material receipt, product shipment etc.
