Position: Project Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

The Project Coordinator assists the VP Development, Project Managers and other Team Members in all phases of a development and construction projects. The PC is responsible for supporting duties on multiple projects, from land acquisition to the end of warranty period and producing corporate level presentations for the board of directors. Responsible to ensure that critical documentation is prepared, updated, delivered and communicated as required during the various stages of a project. Responsible for projects from start to closeout while also coordination warranty period.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage (file, schedule, respond) all Construction Manager (CM) correspondence
  • Assist with procurement and approvals for permits and other government approvals, eg. building permits, development agreements, etc.
  • Overview and review of documentation with CM and Trades eg. tendering and issuing docs, floor plans and elevation approval, and material review and ordering (collaborate with VPs, project managers and CMs)
  • Support the tendering and estimating process by reviewing the bid documents for completeness
  • Produce and prepare corporate level presentations using MS Powerpoint as required
  • Coordinate RFIs, CCNs, COs and any other required project document
  • Assist VP and PM to identify potential drawing errors and/or conflicts
  • Support the Project process by attending job meetings and recording minutes as required
  • Report to Accounting all required documentation for invoice approvals
  • Liaison with all Team members, Senior Executives and Government agencies as required
  • Research development projects as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post Secondary Education
  • High level of organization and ability to work collaboratively, and independently
  • Ability to receive project information and organize and create corporate level presentations with minor oversight
  • Self starter, ambitious, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passion for Real Estate and Construction Development
  • Understanding of Contract Administration
  • Ability to provide simultaneous support for needs across multiple projects in varying phases
  • Strong detail-oriented skills are critical, along with exceptional time management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels in the organization and government
  • Proficient in various MS computer applications
  • Adobe experience is an asset
  • Willingness to travel; a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is required
